Human Defenders Ask Help For Bangladesh

Canadian Human Rights International Organization (CHRIO) and Peace and Justice Alliance, a non profit organization, described this tuesday the undemocratic and difficult situation in Bangladesh, in a event that took place in Ontario Legislative Building in Toronto.

Several members of CHRIO and human rights defenders exposed the situation in this country and how the goverment arbitrarity arrests and detained critics, and had instituted heavy censorship. Right now,Bangladesh is home to over 164 Million people.

Jonathan Whiteside and Mario Guilombo, CHRIO founders, prescided the event and joined to Mohammed Mominul Haque, CHRIO Asia Director, to explained all the violations and human rights abuses that everyday are committed in this country.

In the event, venezuelan human rights defenders asked help to Canada and other countries in the world for a solution and a soon exit of Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship, who has Venezuela in the middle of a humanitarian crisis, with no food or medicines, and with the highest inflation of the world.
